Christopher George Haug

My career in design and technology for live entertainment and the performing arts has taken on many different forms in the 15 years after graduating from the University of Iowa (BA Theatre Arts 2007). From small professional theatres to cruise ships, from political campaigns to rock n' roll, the drive to create, experiment, and collaborate has kept me moving into exciting challenges and opportunities. After graduate school at Michigan State University (MFA Production Design 2015) I took these experiences with me back into the theatrical laboratories and class rooms as a professional staff instructor and later as professor at the collegiate level. Channeling my excitement for the use of design and technology in storytelling into creative mentorship for future collaborators.
